1. What does this app do?

Our AI Coach analyzes your squat, deadlift, and bench press videos to provide movement scores, safety alerts, barbell velocity data, and actionable technique feedback.

It is powered by advanced pose estimation, bar path tracking, and velocity-detection models—technology built specifically for strength training analysis, to deliver fast, accurate, and professional insights within seconds.

2. Which exercises are supported?

Currently: Squat, Deadlift, Bench Press.

More common strength movements will be added in future updates.

3. Who is this app designed for?

Beginners, fitness enthusiasts, intermediate & advanced lifters, powerlifters, bodybuilders, home trainees, people in rehab or concerned about injury risk, functional fitness athletes, personal trainers, data-driven trainees, performance-focused athletes, early tech adopters, and anyone training without a coach who wants better technique feedback.

Video Analysis & Coaching

4. What kind of feedback will I receive?

You will receive:

  • Overall movement score (0–10)
  • Safety alerts (e.g., lumbar flexion, knee valgus, unstable bar path)
  • Barbell velocity data (e.g., eccentric speed)
  • Personalized technique coaching
  • Velocity-based cues (e.g., "explode faster from the bottom," "control your descent")

5. How long does the video analysis take?

Typically 10–30 seconds, depending on video length.

6. Do I need extra equipment, and which devices are supported?

No additional sensors or wearables are required — simply record with your phone, and the AI will automatically detect the barbell and its movement. The app is compatible with iPhone 12 or newer and most mainstream Android devices released after 2020.

7. What is the best camera position?

We recommend a 45° angle at hip height for optimal movement and barbell tracking.

The app offers on-screen guidance.

8. Does the app work with different barbells and Smith machines?

Yes — the app can generally recognize various barbells and weight plates, and you can upload Smith machine videos as well. However, we have not specifically optimized the AI for different barbell types or Smith machine movement patterns yet, so accuracy may vary. We recommend trying these setups again as we continue improving support in future updates.

9. Does the app support vertical and horizontal videos?

Both are supported.

Horizontal captures more detail, but vertical is usually sufficient.

10. Will a cluttered environment affect detection?

Generally not. However, multiple barbells in the frame may confuse the AI.

Training Tracking & Progress

11. Does the app give training suggestions based on velocity?

Yes. Examples include:

  • "Your mid-range velocity dropped significantly—brace your core better."
  • "Your first set was much slower than usual—possible fatigue."
  • "Your explosiveness improved compared to last week."

Subscription & Payment

12. Pricing & Subscription Information

The app offers a limited number of free analyses each month. Unlimited video analysis requires a monthly or yearly subscription. All payments are processed through the App Store or Google Play and your plan will automatically renew unless you disable auto-renewal in your device settings. Refunds are subject to App Store and Google Play policies and are typically handled directly by the platform.

Privacy & Security

13. Are my videos stored securely?

Yes. Videos are encrypted during upload and storage.

14. Are my videos used to train AI?

No — unless you explicitly give permission.

By default, videos are used only for your own analysis.

15. Can I delete my data or account?

Yes. You may delete videos, training logs, or your entire account at any time.
